Boxer...Yes, Politician...No!

So the "most influential person in the world"(?) is going to push his influence in the realm of politics. This guy just doesn't know his limits. He tried his influence once against Darlene Antonino-Custodio and was "decked" by the lady solon. He maybe the best pound for pound boxer in the world today but I don't think he'll do better in politics. His judgements in the past speaks for themselves.

Just look at how he quickly dumped Dela Hoya and signed up with Bob Arum. And what about how he signed a contract with ABS-CBN only to retract after Solar Sports threatened to sue him. Let's all take these out of the picture and just look at the menagerie of politicians surrounding him. It's a simple case of "tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are". Better yet, "birds of the same feather, fluke..errr flock together".

Any person in his right mind and has a sound disposition would know his limitations. In politics, you cannot rely on other people to think for you. Just take a look at the two bozos in the senate, Lapid and Revilla, what have they accomplished that really made a difference in our lives? Influential? His town mates did not even vote for him simply because they knew his limitations. He could easily do a lot of things for the people in his private capacity. You don't have to be a politician to serve the people, it's just a flimsy excuse to gain power.

C'mon Manny, be a real man and accept what you are. Don't listen to the demons whose only goal is to exploit your popularity. You've been hanging around too long with thugs and bandits. Don't fall prey to their diabolical plans. Be man enough to fight temptation. You've made a name for yourself and that is the last thing you want to ruin. Leave a legacy that your children will be proud of.
